How to Validate and Protect Your Account on empowr
By paying your monthly Ad Credit Fees, you are automatically validated and protected. To do so, go to https://secure.empowr.com/FBBank/AdCredits.aspx and pay your due.
Question: I had my account protected, now empowr notified me that my account is NOT PROTECTED, how come?
Answer: When your Ad Credit Fees due date is almost near, empowr will send you a notification telling that your Paypal Account will be charged soon. When that time comes, and they access your Paypal account but could not successfully charged the fees, empowr will automatically put your account UNPROTECTED. To protect it, all you have to do is to pay your fees.

Now that your Paypal account has been validated, you are ready to validate your FanBox/Empowr identity. Validating your account on Empowr/Fanbox will protect your earnings not to be cashed out from the wrong hands. You knew what I meant! Anyone who knows your login details there could easily steal it from you by changing/editing your profile details into their favors and validate their identity with Paypal. Once it is done, you cannot reverse the action anymore. And your earning is gone out of the window.
Ok you are a little bit scared of the consequences not validating your Fanbox/Empowr account because of the possibility that your earnings could be taken away from you. But you don't know how to do it. Below are the step by step process on how to validate your FanBox/Empowr account using Paypal.

- Check your Paypal account if it has at least 50 pesos balance. Don't worry, FanBox will only take $0.01 from you and return it immediately when you have successfully validated.
- If you have no balance in your Paypal, please have at least 50 pesos balance in your GCash account. Paypal will automatically access your credit/debit card.
Below are the STEPS AND PROCEDURES. Please read the instructions and the corresponding images.
2. A pop-up screen will open, tick 'Use my Paypal' and then click 'Validate your identity'.
3. After ticking 'Use my Paypal', you will see an 'Approve' button right below it. Click that button.
4. Enter your Paypal login details and click 'Login'.
5. Click 'Approve'.
6. You successfully signed up for preapproved payments. You will also see a receipt sent from Paypal in your Paypal-registered email address. Click 'Return' or just wait a few minutes for the automatic redirection to FanBox home page.
7. You have successfully validated your identity. A video about BOOSTING is shown. You either watched it or simply click 'Continue'.
8. (Optional) Go to your messages. You will see an email from FanBox team about your successful validation of your account.
9. (Optional) When the email message is clicked, it would be like this below.
MUST READ: Please refer to the picture in step 9. Now that your account has been successfully validated, and if you are using I PAY LATER(IPL) , FanBox automatically access your Paypal account for your IPL processing fee payments. In case you have insufficient funds either on your Paypal or your linked credit/debit card, you will be charged 25 dollar penalty fees. Always leave money in your debit card account, the one connected to your Paypal to avoid penalties.

ReplyDeleteI do not even remember joining FANBOX, but I must have done using my face book account, BUT I do not know when I did that.
To-day the 29th December 2015, for the VERY FIRST TIME, I received an email form noreply@myfanbox.com, displaying some fancy figures and asking me to optimize my account.
I clicked on that link in the email and was taken to the Fanbox website, which also asked me to state how I wished to receive moneys I earned.
In response, I said PayPal, and linked my PayPal account to you.
In doing this I DEFINITELY DID NOT MAKE ANY PURCHASE, NOR HAVE ANY INTENTIONS OF MAKING ANY PURCHASE.
Yet, Fanbox debited my PayPal account with an amount of $1469.71 claiming it to be for a purchase.
MY PayPal balance is 0.00 but in this case PayPal would debit that amount to my savings account to which the PayPal account is linked.
I am 69 years old, a retired disabled pensioner. This has caused my blood pressure to shoot up, because now I am PENNILESS
IF this is not a SCAM what else is.
Please help me get back my money.

Hi Noel! Empowr(Fanbox) has a what they called Ad Credit Fees supposedly paid monthly by its members. Now, if the member did not pay his/her dues for months or years, it will be accumulated. It is also in their tems and conditions that they are going to charge your Paypal account for your fees.
DeleteEven if you are not active, your Ad Credits utilizing will continue unless, you turned it off or NOT CONNECT YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO IT.
But good news, there is a REFUND option on empowr. I strongly suggest you talk to your coach and ask how to get a refund.

Hi Kimberly! If you don't have an account in Paypal yet, get a personal one. Empowr does not care if you validate your account from your personal account or business account as long as they can access your account.

I then tried to link it to my paypal account but i got the message "We're unable to validate your identity. Use a credit card to validate your identity, or learn how to set up your PayPal correctly."
I have seen the Validation by empowr key in my Paypal account under my preapproved payments but then i have a message underneath saying "To protect your account, this preapproved payments has been deactivated. To reactivate it, reset your PIN."

Hi Evans, are you using a debit card to connect to empowr? You can only connect it to Paypal and then use it to validate your account.

ReplyDeleteHi Jubail! Is your Paypal account verified? I don't understand what you mean. Are you trying to pay your empowr Ad Credit fees? Or you're trying to verify your Paypal account?
DeleteBy saying that you have enough funds in your GCash Account means that you did the KYC process already. Also make sure that your GCASH Mastercard is activated too..You must have at least 200 pesos in your GCash account to have the transaction successful.

DeleteMake sure you have sufficient balance in your Paypal account or to the card linked to it.
Here please check if:
1) How much you owe to empowr, and how much is your balance in your GCash Mastercard linked to your Paypal. Is it enough to pay for your dues? Check on the exchange rate, sometimes, you think you have enough balance but you don't. Paypal has different rates..For safety, make sure that you have a conversion rate of 1$= 50pesos. So example your empowr Ad Platform fee is 20$, make sure that you have 1000 pesos in your GCash Mastercard for the transaction to go through. Hope this helps in your case.
I have no problem transferring money from my GCash Mastercard via Paypal to empowr. So there must be something that is not right.

He is having some problem validating his account. Because he cannot yet apply for a credit card, he used a debit card which is also rejected by paypal saying it cannot be used for international online transaction but the debit card harbours a visa logo....strange huh ?! So can empowr be validated using a virtual credit card (or paypal in that matter)
He wont be able to cash anything (even if it is matured) if he cannot validated his account using his paypal (which is also asked to have a card linked). The main problem is the card. His debit card has been deemed unfit and he can't apply for a credit card. If he cant apply for it than what's the point in having a substantial earnings if you can't use it ?!

Answer: It happens from time to time. That is a system bug but it has nothing to worry about. If it's asking you to validate, simply validate again. The validation amount of $0.01 will be refunded immediately anyway.

Answer: To see your maturity progress, please click on your Balance page and beside your My Balance, you will see "details" inside the parenthesis. Click on it and you will be brought to this page: https://secure.empowr.com/FBBank/Default.aspx .
See this screenshot : http://prntscr.com/cawspr . If you point your cursor on the details beside the amounts listed, you will see how many days your earnings are matured.

Answer: Regular cashouts will take months (or years) until you finish paying all your Ad Credit Utilized. Your activities in the Marketplace are the reason why your balance has not matured. Every time you are bidding/purchasing, empowr use the oldest money available.. but there is good news!! If you are an active user, I meant regular user, I am sure you are aware of AMCO(Accelerated Matured Cashouts)??? Many members are so excited about that, including yours truly. :)

Answers: Every earnings on empowr enters into a maturation period which is 90 days after a month it has been earned. Is your brother regularly using empowr?

Answer: VISA logos with marked "Electronic Use Only", are intended for ATM use only and not for internet transactions. Choose ATMs with VISA LOGO but has no writing like I have mentioned above. I recommend you use UNIONBANK EON VISA CARD. You can use that also for cashing out your Paypal funds. Hi, I am trying to validate my account from empowr to paypal. I already link a debit card to my paypal since I dont have any credit card. Everytime I try to validate my account it would ask my paypal and I try to link it but it asks again for a credit card number. I tried debit card and it wo't work. Hi Nomer, if you paid all your pending fees from AD PLATFORM FEES TO UTILIZED AD CREDITS and you still have matured earnings left, then yes. You can cashout what's left after paying all unpaid fees.
